Hemifacial spasm - Botox for a Switch that does Not Stop

Patient has abnormal movements over one half of face like involuntary blinking of one eye, face turns to one side. It starts from lower eyelid and then spreads to involve entire half of face.

It lasts for few seconds and can occur several times per day. 

Sometimes it may be confused with Bell's palsy or blepherospasm.

Most of the investigations including MRI of brain are normal. 

It responds very well to Botulinum toxin injections.
